We have an exciting competition for you all. You could win a beautiful large bouquet of winter seasonal flowers. We have always had a passion for flowers and the meanings behind them. One of the key flowers featured in this bouquet is delphiniums, a member of the buttercup family, with stunning tall spikes of blue flowers. The meaning behind this flower is from the Greek word delphis meaning ‘dolphin’, it is thought the shape of the spur resembles a dolphin's back. The lush, dolphin-shaped flowers symbolise an open heart, ardent attachment and convey a feeling of lightness and levity.

This beautiful bouquet is created by Amy at Flower Project she has grown the flowers indoors using biomass heating.  She discovered the delphiniums from a grower in Cornwall, she could not resist them!
